Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) are gaining popularity amongst the cryptocurrency community that may soon translate over into the tangible world we interact with. DAO’s are organizations that can operate without the need of human intervention. Soon we may be able to see how a DAO can function in an industry that takes part in our weekly life, specifically our night life.
Introducing our hypothetical business example, DrinkTopia! DrinkTopia is a bar that aims at personalizing each and every one of its customer’s experience. No experience is the same as it is tailored to each individual and group’s liking. This venue features 20 rooms with glass doors that surround the perimeter of the center dance floor. Each room is designed the same. A touch screen the size of a large Ipad is located on the wall opposite of the door. The rooms are also equipped with LED strip lights that wrap around the entirety of the space, surround sound speakers that drown out the music coming from the outside dance floor, and sensors in each corner of the room to track movement. The only humans present at DrinkTopia are the security team and a few staff members that monitor the system.
